Protein is the building block of life.

Protein is used in every single cell in our body, every single day to keep the body going.

We need protein in our diet to help our body repair cells and make new ones.

Protein is a critical building block of:

Bones

Muscles

Cartilage

Skin

Blood

It supports neurological function, including mood, aids in digestion,

helps to balance hormones naturally and stabilizes blood sugar.

Our hair and nails are mostly made of protein.

Unlike fat and carbohydrates, the body does not store protein,

and therefore has no reservoir to draw on when it needs a new supply.

Because it is constantly being broken down and must be replaced, we need to eat plenty of protein foods every single day.

Protein make us feel full and satisfied, so can help in weight maintenance.

Eating too little protein can result in these symptoms:

A sluggish metabolism

Trouble building muscle mass

Low energy and fatigue

Poor concentration and trouble learning

Moodiness and mood swings

Muscle, bone and joint pain

Low immunity

Sleep issues

Are you getting enough protein?
